Have You Ever Had “Blue Balls” or Epididymal Hypertension?

2 706

Blue balls, known medically as epididymal hypertension (EH), is a condition that can affect people with male genitals. It causes pain and aching in the testicles after having an erection without an orgasm or released semen. When males are aroused, the blood vessels to the penis and testicles expand to allow a greater volume of blood flow. Over time, this blood causes the penis to expand and stiffen, leading to an erection. The testicles also increase in size, causing them to feel heavier.

This condition often described by sexually frustrated dudes as painful tingling in balls, accompanied by a slight blue hue of scrotal skin. It is caused by (or at least told to cause) unreleased sperm accumulation. But is there a truth in it or is it a fantastic story invented by men who really want to shag? A certified urologist for men’s health and fertility, answers all your questions like How long does epididymal hypertension last? Can epididymal hypertension be cured? Is epididymal hypertension bad for you? Can sperm build up cause pain?

1. To understand what really happens with the Epididymal Hypertension or “blue balls”, you must first understand how ejaculation works.

Urologist explains that the first part of ejaculation is called the emission. “Then sperm from the scrotum are pumped through the vas deferens into the prostate,” says the Doctor. “The second part of the process is called accordingly ‘ejaculation’.” Think of it as sneezing. The show is the moment when you lift your head back and close your eyes, and the sneezing is ejaculation. And in that sense, have fun thinking about ejaculation at the next sneeze. “Unlike a sneeze, however, you can turn that reflex off to the point of causing true ejaculation,”.

2. In the worst case, stopping this sperm output can cause very mild discomfort.

So there is no point of return for the semen because it’s loaded. If this is not released, the blue balls or Epididymal Hypertension feeling occurs. “Normally, it’s not openly painful, just annoying or uncomfortable.” So while an unreleased orgasm can cause mild discomfort, it’s not a man who can not handle it. Granted, that’s not why you should feel guilty if you dont help him release

3. No, the balls are not really blue.

There is no real evidence that all these unreleased semen really cause the skin of the scrotum to turn blue. This does not mean that a boy’s balls do not turn blue, but if it really happens, you better take him to the doctor right away. “Although the Epididymal Hypertension discomfort is not associated with discolored testes, using restrictive devices or toys in the scrotum, or simply twisting the testicles more than 360 degrees, could damage the blood and make it blue,”.

4. And even if the Epididymal Hypertension do not end up with him squirming on the ground, there are other reasons why he might feel pain.

And these are also reasons to go to the emergency room to prevent any damage. “In general, this may be due to pelvic muscle spasms, prostatitis, infections, ejaculatory obstruction, narrowing of the urethra, varicocele, or even the hip injury.” There are about 60 muscles in the pelvis that do one or the other, so musculoskeletal problems are probably the most common cause.” These problems can range from a mild (relative) stroke to the balls you received earlier in the day to treat sexually transmitted diseases. And for what it’s worth, he mentions that “heavy, aggressive manipulation” can still cause problems, as could some extreme cases (we’re talking really extreme) cases of edging for hours. So even though you can’t really “blue ball” him, it’s still not a great idea to be rough with them or tease him for too long.

Most men have used the ‘blue balls’ phenomenon to get laid by pleading with their female partners for semen release and can include cajoling, appealing, praying and even crying to evoke sympathy for penetration.

Typically, this blood is released after orgasm or as a result of a decreased physical arousal. Too much blood may stay in the genital area of some people who become aroused for an extended period without a release or decrease of arousal. This can cause pain and discomfort. The testicles may even start to turn blue due to the excess blood and increase in blood pressure.

It symptoms include pain, discomfort, heaviness and aching.

How is blue balls treated?

The simplest, quickest remedy for blue balls is to ejaculate during an orgasm. One can achieve this through masturbation, oral sex, or protected sexual intercourse. After an orgasm, the pain will go away slowly. Another quick remedy is to become unaroused achieved through a variety of ways, including: taking a cold shower, thinking of something nonsexual, distracting yourself with music, working or doing another activity that keeps you busy.

Exercise may also help because it can move the blood flow away from your testicles to your muscles. Applying an ice pack or other cold substance to the area may also help by constricting the blood vessels and reducing additional blood flow to the area.

So there you have it, your male partner will not die from blue balls but he would go through pain if you engage in wet kissing, smooching without penetration access or oral sex.
