Wear Your Curves Proudly – You’re A Healthy Beautiful Woman

0 39

I start my day with an intense workout at the gym. I’m on a strict diet hoping to lose some weight. I swear I’m not doing this because my body doesn’t impress me, but because it doesn’t impress society. Every day is a struggle – a neighbor, a relative and sometimes even a friend reminding me that I’ve gained a lot of weight, which forces me to struggle with my body.

Am I having fun? Of course not, and I’m sure anyone who works out under pressure or diets under pressure doesn’t enjoy it.

I’ve been through a lot, I’ve heard people say mean things about me and stare at me, but now nothing bothers me! I’m happy to be that ‘Fat woman’ that’s me, and if you’re as fat as me, you should be happy too. Stop blaming others for how you feel. Do you remember what Eleanor Roosevelt said? She said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” I’m so sorry to burst the bubble but it wasn’t the others who mocked you, it was you who demeaned yourself and gave them the freedom to shame you.

I understand and agree that a ‘thin and slender body’ with the ‘perfect abs’ has become the new ‘Fashion’, but that doesn’t mean you have to conform to society’s norms. Let people call you fat, curvy, fuller, plus size, obese, chubby, or any other similar word that suits their taste. It’s okay to exercise if you want to, but don’t starve yourself to death because someone else told you to. Treat yourself to treats you love; It’s okay to have a cheese burst pizza along with fries and chocolate if you like, or you can just enjoy some juice if that’s your thing. Remember that the life you lead is your own and no one has the right to judge you based on your height, the clothes you wear, or the food you eat. Relax!

As for me, I learned things for the long haul – it took me several years to accept mine ‘fat body’ and to understand that there is no definition of a perfect body. Whether I’m fat or slim, people will always find reasons to berate me.

The kind of negativity that revolves around them plus size doesn’t excite me. I believe in self-love, my size no longer bothers me. I would like to say to the people who show me too much sympathy: “I don’t care. Stop wasting your time here!”

Believe me when I say that learning to wear your curves proudly will make you feel extremely confident and comfortable. Remember that you are a healthy, beautiful woman and no one can take that away from you.
