Weight Loss Is a Pain In The Ass!

0 21

From what I’ve learned, there’s a lot to “weight loss”. First, it’s 80% diet and 20% exercise, which I thought was crap from the start, because I think if you’re consistently moving your body, you don’t have to worry about what foods you’re eating. NOT CORRECT! I’m a foodie, so I figured I could get away with it with my workout plan. NOT!

The diet consists of three main components: protein, carbohydrates and fat help build muscle, tone the body and give energy. If you eat fried and sugary foods (which mostly contain fat and who cares what kind of fat). For your diet, or um, your “lifestyle change,” you need about 60% carbs, 20% protein, and 20% — that may or may not be right, but close. Eating junk and exercising doesn’t help you lose weight. So I turned to healthy and clean eating AND stopped drinking soda. Which was the hardest of all. Check the previous article written by moi 🙂

Oh and it gets better kids!!! I figured now I should shed the pounds, and not exactly…see I changed my diet, quit soda and still exercised…now before I quit soda and changed my eating habits, I have still not lost anything, but when i did, i lost the weight because i stopped drinking the soda. But not from training.

Here is the dealio! You need to push hard when exercising! My problem is that I take breaks as soon as I get tired. oh no no You need to make sure your heart rate is in a certain range, in addition to everything else mentioned above, and rest for only 30 seconds to maybe a minute to keep your heart rate high and you’re burning off pounds. So I recommend investing in a heart rate monitor if you’re serious about losing the weight. You can also find out what your heart rate should be during exercise. Just google “target heart rate for exercise”.

I’ve lost about 5 pounds, but I still have work to do. Have I considered the trending weight loss products out there? Hell yes, especially since I had no luck doing what I thought was right. But I decided against it because I want to do it right.

As I changed my diet and exercised, I learned a lot of new things like clean eating, running (I’m not a runner and now I LOVE running) and drinking all kinds of healthy beverages. I try to stay away from sugary drinks but I love Propel and some juices and am always looking for a new healthy drink to try. I also love the exercise machines and the different workouts. Right now I’m currently doing Turbo Fire, Pilates, have a yoga mat (and do yoga too). I also have exercise and running shoes so I can keep losing weight and gaining muscle.

So folks, how do you lose weight and is it still annoying? Little bit.
