Oatmeal – A Magical Health Food

Oats are one of the most wonderful super grains with a high content of soluble and insoluble fiber. As a health conscious member of the family, opting for oats in your daily diet becomes a must as they have immense health benefits. Oats are indeed a magical super grain that keeps our hearts healthy, helps achieve longevity and is also a great immune system booster. So now is the time to consider eating oats every day and making healthy choices for an energetic life.

As a man’s life becomes increasingly stressful and sedentary in this fast-paced yet wonderful and technological world, the addition of a highly nutritious food like oats should rarely be underestimated.

Here’s a simple recipe for an oat drink that can be taken either in the morning or in the evening. This recipe will help you make a delicious oatmeal drink in less than 4 minutes:

ingredients: 2 cups of water

1 1/2 tablespoons oats

A pinch of salt

Sugar as needed (optional)

Dried fruits like cashew/almonds (optional)

Soaked (overnight) fenugreek seeds – 1/2 or 1 teaspoon (optional)

Milk – quarter of a cup

method of preparation: Boil water with oatmeal and add a pinch of salt. Let cook for 2 minutes. add milk. Also add sugar if needed. (If sugar is added, do not add the soaked fenugreek seeds). Also add dried fruit. Drink it hot and enjoy the delicious health drink.
