Health and Nutrition Supplements – Are They Good Or Bad For You?

People are always trying to look fit, get in shape, lose weight and improve their health, so it’s not surprising that so many people are turning to certain products to help them, such as health and nutritional supplements.

Some of these supplements can help you in some way to reach your goals, but these supplements can also be bad for your health and hurt you in the long run. The FDA (Food and Drug Administration responsible for regulating and monitoring the safety of foods, drugs, vaccines, dietary supplements, etc.) recommends people to stop using a number of different health and dietary supplements, mainly Hydroxycut products. By law, companies that manufacture and distribute these Hydroxycut products must notify the FDA of any harmful side effects that may occur from taking these supplements.

You might say, “But hey, these are health and fitness supplements. Worse, they’re supposed to help you.” That’s true, they’re supposed to help you, but there’s a negative trade-off in taking these health and nutritional supplements, and believe me, you’re getting the worst of it. This brings us to the question, “Are health and nutritional supplements good or bad for you?” I’ll let you judge.

Cardiovascular problems, seizures, and even muscle damage leading to kidney failure are just a few of the problems you put your body at risk by unknowingly using health and nutritional supplements. Also, health and dietary supplements are not rigorously regulated by the FDA, so most of the time health and dietary supplements on the market aren’t even tested by the FDA to determine if those products are safe for the consumer, they pretty much take their word for it Companies that make them that the supplements are fine. If you ran a company in a multi-billion dollar industry, you would be more interested in sales or in other people’s safety (I agree, other people’s safety) than in the companies that are making these dangerous supplements out of their homes Factories crowd out giving the impression that they care more about sales.

All health and nutritional supplements aren’t bad, don’t get me wrong, there are a select few that will provide the health and nutrition you need and won’t put you in a wheelchair or hospital bed later. However, finding these supplements can take a lot of time and trial and error, but we only have one life and I doubt anyone would want to play with their life by putting things in their body and hoping it would benefit their health no harm thing they are trying to improve. But like I said, I leave it to you to judge, you can play with your life and experiment if you want.

There are proven easier and safer ways to achieve the health, weight or shape you desire and they offer all the benefits of health and nutritional supplements but none of the ill effects. Boost your health naturally by discovering ways to lower cholesterol, improve your health and immune system, nourish and revitalize your systems, and more, without harming your body in the process.
