- Exercise – You have to do some light exercise to move your muscles. Stiff muscles would also cause various problems like joint pains and arthritis in older people. However, one should not try too hard with exercise. Trying yoga is highly recommended as it does not involve heavy lifting. Walking is also said to be the most effective against old age.
