Butt Exercises – Get the Butt You’ve Always Wanted

Have you ever wished your butt looked like a swimsuit model’s butt in a tiny bikini? Who doesn’t, right? But don’t be fooled into thinking you can’t have that butt – you can! Here are some of the best butt exercises that will help you get the results you want. They may be a bit unconventional but they’re a lot more fun and let’s face it, you’ll have fun and get fit at the same time, which means getting that butt you’ve always wanted doesn’t really feel like work!

The best butt exercise for your butt is inline skating, also known as rollerblading. This exercise is so good for the glutes, hamstrings and abs. You can buy a pair for anywhere from $20 to $150 depending on the type and quality. But for a 30-minute Blade around the park every day, all you need is a decent pair that’s comfortable and preferably has rubber wheels. This helps absorb some of the shock; saves your knees. For beginners I’d recommend investing in a pair with brakes, knee and elbow pads too, and even gloves wouldn’t be a bad idea. There’s a learning curve, but it’s like riding a bike – once you learn it, it becomes second nature. But if inline skating isn’t your thing, ice skating will get you the same result. Any activity that requires you to use your legs to push against your body weight is a great exercise not only for your legs but for your butt as well, since the legs rely on the glutes to perform.

Another activity that is good for your butt is hiking. Or, if the hiking is a little too much, walking up an incline will do more for your butt than walking on the flat or downhill. The reason hiking is one of the best butt exercises is because the terrain varies, which is why you work different parts of the butt and at different intensities throughout the workout. This means that the muscles tighten much faster.

The third best butt exercise is swimming. Swimming has been shown to be the best exercise for all parts of the body as it provides resistance without putting too much stress on the joints. However, to get better and faster results, consider supplementing these activities with an at-home workout DVD. I highly recommend the Brazil Butt Lift DVD.
