CPD TITLE: COVID-19 TRAINING MODULE FOR ALL HEALTH WORKERS

This online CPD is comprised of lecture videos to update healthcare workers on COVID-19. The training is not live. It is rather crafted to be self-paced and concise. You get to learn at your own convenience; at any time, any location, and on any device. 

What you will learn

The training is aimed at increasing your knowledge as a health care worker to enable you stay safe, readily screen, isolate and manage suspected and confirmed cases of the disease in your line of duty. The training includes:

1.       Review of basic information on COVID-19  

  1. Review of current recommendations in Appropriate use of Personal Projective Equipment (PPE)
  2. Review of current recommendations on Testing, Imaging and Laboratory Information of COVID-19

4.       Overview of the current recommendations on Treatment and Vaccines.

This is being undertaken by the African coaLition for Epidemic Research, Response, and Training (ALEERT) in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research (KCCR).
