How to Work Like a Robot

As machines become more efficient and perfect, it becomes clear that imperfection is the greatness of man. – Ernest Fisherman

-Robots don’t complain.

-Robots need maintenance to work efficiently.

-Robots need to be programmed to do the job properly, but once programmed they can complete a job faster than a human.

-Robots need to be reprogrammed to complete a new task.

stop complaining

Robots don’t complain. To complain means to find excuses. When you start complaining about the work you have to do, look for reasons not to do it. So maybe your job is harder than it should be. Maybe your boss is an idiot. Maybe it’s too hot where you have to work. Don’t complain. Just do the work and get it done. Like a robot.

Perform maintenance

Robots are machines that need maintenance to remain efficient. Sometimes their parts need to be replaced or lubricated. How about us humans? How do we groom ourselves to ensure we are in top shape to perform at our best?

  • sleep quality – I can’t stress that enough. Good sleep is essential if you want to be efficient at what you do. Getting good sleep is considered routine care. Robots turn off too, you know.
  • Get practice – Regular exercise is necessary to keep your heart healthy and your body functioning as it should. You should exercise at least 30 minutes 3-5 days per week. If you don’t want to feel slow, lethargic, lazy, and sluggish: Get out and start walking, running, or lifting weights.
  • Eat nutritious – It’s amazing how good I feel when I eat balanced and nutritious meals. Your body was designed to absorb nutritious food. If you fill your body with shit all the time, you will feel like shit all the time. Would a robot eat crap?
  • take vitamins – Again, your body was designed to take the right supplements to function properly. Talk to your doctor about what supplements you should be taking. I personally take a B vitamin, C vitamin, D vitamin and an omega 3 capsule. I rarely get sick, even about 4 kids who are always sick and I think it has a lot to do with the vitamins I take. (Before taking vitamins, I got sick once a month.)

Program yourself

In order to do a job properly, robots need to be programmed. Robots working in a car factory don’t just start assembling cars on their own. You receive specific instructions and have a specific task.

We’re the same, aren’t we? I didn’t just sit down and start designing websites. I’ve spent years researching, reading, taking courses, and actually getting the job done to learn how to do what I do.

To get a job done as efficiently as possible, you must program yourself to.
