0 37

One thing we should admit is that most people love to eat foods rich in spices. And sometimes these foods can be derived from foods that are mostly acidic. Well, alkaline diet recipes are the solution to avoid acidic foods.

There are many ways to prepare recipes that suit our tastes. This can also be done with fruits and vegetables, which are alkaline foods.

You can easily prepare alkaline foods at any time. And here are the suggestions for alkaline juice, soup, snack and dinner.

o Alkaline juice

This recipe is great for breakfast as it boosts your energy levels. It awakens your digestive system and nourishes your body.

You can mix in cucumbers, celery, spinach, lettuce leaves, and any other green leafy vegetables. You can also use parsley and fresh alfalfa as optional boosters. Juice them together and mix 50/50 with distilled water. You can optionally add lemon juice. You can also add premium pH to improve the juice’s alkalinity even further.

o base soup

This soup is highly recommended during a detox. This recipe features avocado, which is high in EFAs. It also contains cucumber, known for its cleansing properties. You can use herbs and spices, lemon and lime.

You will mash and store the avocado to form a light paste. After that, add spring onions, green or red peppers, cucumber, spinach and garlic. Add Bragg Liquid Aminos, light vegetable bouillon (yeast-free), and lemon or lime juice.

o Basic dinner

For dinner, Detox Lime-Chili Stir ‘Fry’ is one of the likeable recipes for alkaline diets. The ingredients are pak choi, carrots, snow peas, bean sprouts, broccoli, cabbage (red or green), fresh lime juice, chili, cilantro and vegetable stock, and brown basmati/wild rice.

The first thing you should do is crush the cilantro with a mortar and pestle. And then add chili and lime juice to make a sauce. Put it aside. And then you will finely chop all the vegetables. After that, you will steam them, but not cook them completely, so as not to lose the nutrients.

Now you’re going to cover the cooked stuff over the rice and then put the sauce.

It’s so simple and yet delicious. You can also steam the veggies in vegetable broth if you don’t have a steamer. If you like seafood, you can also add shrimp.

The amount of each ingredient depends on your choice.

o Basic snack

The basic recipe that will surely appeal to your taste buds is asparagus dressed with lemon juice.

The ingredients are asparagus spears (bend towards the end and let them break naturally), spring onions, melted (avocado) butter, grated zest of half a lemon, fresh lemon juice of a whole lemon and fresh thyme.

Steam the spring onion and asparagus, but avoid overcooking. Then mix together the avocado butter, lemon juice, thyme and lemon zest to form the dressing. Add some extra virgin olive oil, extra virgin olive oil to neutralize the lemon juice a bit. Now stack the spring onions and asparagus and serve.
