Body image can be roughly defined as the likeness of your body, but the term has a much deeper meaning. Body image is what you perceive about your body; it is your physical appearance. Overall, however, what you feel about your body may differ from what others think of you.
You can have positive or negative body image depending on how you are feeling. Body image doesn’t develop overnight, and it changes over time. There are many factors that contribute to becoming aware of your body.
A positive body image gives you confidence, self-esteem, self-acceptance, and self-esteem, while a negative body image leads to anxiety, depression, emotional distress, inferiority complex, low self-esteem, eating disorders, and ultimately an unsuccessful life. The key to real success and happiness in life is having a healthy mental attitude by developing a positive body image.
So what could positive body image bring into your life? The answer is true happiness, peace of mind and a contented life. How can you develop a positive body image? The answer is by changing your behavior and attitude towards how you perceive yourself.
You may not look stunning to others but if you are confident you would always look glamorous to yourself. You communicate your body image to others through your actions, manners, communication, dress, and by showing respect to others. For example, if you take a bath daily, dress well, and perfume your body, you are actually presenting a positive body image, not only to yourself but to others as well. In return, you get confidence and people respect you because you seem respectable.
Having a positive body image can win hearts. You may have heard that the first impression is the last impression and that is the case when you go to a job interview. The interviewer will assess you as soon as you enter the interview room. So positive body image wins a job for you in most cases since you are confident.
Some people are naturally good-looking and attractive, so they don’t need to do anything to achieve positive body image. They naturally look beautiful even if they live an ordinary life; However, with a little more care, they can look fabulous. There are a number of people in the world who are either unaware of their body image or have negative thoughts. The following are some of the things you can do to achieve positive body image.
Eat well and eat healthily; Your bones will get stronger and you’ll have healthy, glowing skin and silky hair. It is recommended to exercise daily as it increases your stamina and energy and boosts your self-image and self-esteem. You also need to get a good rest by sleeping according to your complacency.

We have to be optimistic and should look at the positive side of the picture; this is required when we see our body in the mirror. Everyone is unique and he/she should look unique to follow his/her style. You are a builder of your own belief and destiny; Your looks are important, but your originality makes you exceptional.
