The value of supplements in your daily diet

Do you need 5 a day? Why exactly should you try to eat fruits and vegetables? In many cases, vegetables and fruit are among the micronutrients and are important foods in a balanced diet. Your body needs these tiny vitamins and minerals to support normal functions that occur in the body. The body cannot create these on its own, so we must have these vitamins and minerals from foods and supplements. There is a wide range of nutrients that support different properties when consumed.

There are two types of vitamin supplements. Most are both fat soluble and water soluble. Body fat-soluble vitamins are found in unhealthy fats, such as grillon, butter, vegetable essential oils, and dairy products. The beauty of it is that you don’t have to eat this type of food every day. Your body maintains these supplements when needed. Fat-soluble supplements are: Vitamin A palmitate, D, E, K. On the other hand, liquid-soluble supplements cannot be stored in the body, so you should consume them daily. However, if you have more of these supplements than your body actually needs, they will be eliminated from your system. Liquid soluble dietary supplements can be obtained from fresh fruit, vegetables and grains. Some of these foods lose their goodness when cooked through boiling. Good things can also be lost if air gets into your meal. Make sure you’re getting all the vitamins and minerals that the foods provide by keeping them in their natural state or perhaps steaming them. Vitamin B and vitamin C are water-soluble dietary supplements.

They each have a different role to play in the body. Calcium supplementation is great for developing strong bones and teeth. Known to lower blood pressure, calcium also helps control muscle contractions, including the heartbeat. Magnesium vitamin is responsible for more than three hundred compounds in the body. It happens to be linked to a healthier immune system, and you should be sure to include magnesium in your diet. Foods like nuts like cashews, kale, and oatmeal are high in magnesium mineral. Potassium is an additional nutrient needed by the body to help control fluids in the body. It is said to be one of the key electrolytes in you. Iron is important because it forms red-colored blood skin cells, which carry much-needed oxygen throughout the body. Meat, spinach, fruit, and nuts are good examples of iron-rich foods. Finally, there is zinc oxide. Zinc helps the body process these macro vitamins and minerals – carbohydrate foods, proteins and fats. Zinc is found in meat, dairy products and bread.

Fresh fruit to include in your diet is,

Reddish grapes, blueberries, bananas, grapefruits and apples

There are many more different vitamins and minerals that you can get by eating the right foods. However sometimes it is not easy to get them through what we eat, this could be for several reasons as well as the most likely time. Along with the hectic lifestyle, everyone means you don’t usually have a good time getting the right amount of vitamins and minerals in your diet. Good news would be that there are many different multi-mineral and vitamin pills to choose from if you find them difficult to eat with what you eat.
