Habit #2: Moderation

Healthy people understand moderation. They don’t eat whole bags of chips, and they don’t regularly eat junk food or unhealthy sweets. They have accepted that these foods are not conducive to their health and are simply not regular dietary choices.

Healthy people enjoy an occasional treat, but instead of eating a whole piece of cake, they eat a bite or two. Some might order fries occasionally, but that’s rarely the case.

They watch portion sizes and avoid mindless eating, which can lead to weight gain and other health problems. Their typical diet is full of healthy, whole foods that support their health, improve their energy levels, and prevent chronic diseases.

Habit #3: Prioritize

Health-conscious people know how to prioritize. They don’t look for excuses to skip a workout, but instead make that workout a priority, even if it means skipping an evening or postponing another activity that bothers them. Movement is always at the forefront of her daily routine.

They receive regular physical exams, mammograms, testicle exams, and pap smears to ensure there are no issues that require their immediate attention.
