I’ve been drinking green tea for about a year and I feel like it’s one of those great and refreshing drinks that has helped me get back in shape. Aside from the weight loss benefits, I find it to be a rejuvenating drink that is just as healthy.
I’m not obese, but I don’t have the body most women crave. The accumulation of fat in my abdominal area after the birth of my son is particularly noticeable. The worst thing is that the sagging skin at this point prevents me from wearing form-fitting clothes. To be honest, I’m not very picky about my looks, but a good body means a lot to me. It’s something that makes me confident. Apparently these ugly bumps are making me conscious, and I don’t want to live with them.
I switched to the green tea diet to get rid of the visible fat around the hard areas of my body. I have to say it’s helping me, albeit slowly. I recommend following a regular exercise schedule with this diet for faster results.
Benefits of drinking green tea
Many of us are aware of the benefits of the green tea diet. Here are some benefits I would like to share with you all:
-
Without a doubt, shedding a few pounds will help, albeit slowly. I’ve lost about 4 inches from my waist in a year. I find it quite commendable
-
It helps to stay rejuvenated throughout the day as it speeds up the detoxification process
-
The great thing about this eating plan is that it also boosts the digestive process and helps a person stay healthy and fit
-
Plus, it offers some impressive skincare benefits. It acts like a toner when applied directly to the face
-
It is also known to prevent breast cancer in women. According to one of the studies, which involved 472 women with the disease, women who drank around 4-5 cups of green tea daily were able to further limit the spread of the disease. It not only limits the progression of the disease, but also prevents the same from recurring after treatment is completed. Don’t you think this is fantastic news for all the ladies on breast cancer medication? You can always add it to your diet
-
It also lowers the risk of prostate cancer in men who drink around 2-3 cups of the beverage daily.
The benefits of drinking green tea are numerous, but one must drink it at the right time to reap its maximum benefits.
