How I Saved My Gallbladder From Surgery With Diet
I woke up one morning and was in a lot of pain. It was very spicy and really scared me. I went to the doctor and he did an ultrasound and found that I had some gallstones and sludge that had built up in my gallbladder. He said I had had a gallbladder attack and that the pain might go away and then come back. His suggestion was to have my gallbladder surgically removed. I’m not the type of person who likes to have organs removed without having exhausted all other options first. I said thank you, left and then decided to look into nutrition as an alternative. Here’s what I did…
First, I discovered that diet plays a large and direct role in gallbladder symptoms. The number one cause of gallbladder pain and sludge is cholesterol. What I’ve learned is that cholesterol is actually produced by the body naturally and you don’t need it or want it from your diet. When you eat too much cholesterol, it overloads the gallbladder as it tries to digest and process it. But like I said, it’s being reworked and can’t handle everything. So, these cholesterol deposits turn into sludge and gallstones. If it gets worse, your gallbladder can become inflamed and cause you a lot of pain.
So, the first and most important thing I learned is that you need to eliminate cholesterol from your diet. That means any type of animal-based food (red meat, chicken, fish, turkey, and dairy – cheese, milk, butter, ice cream, etc.) This may seem radical to you, but I can promise you that if you’re in pain, you will do everything possible to get rid of it as soon as possible. So I switched to a diet that focused on salads, fruits, veggies, beans, etc. I also started taking a very high quality and organic herbal formula for the gallbladder. And within a few days my pain was gone and never came back. That made me feel like I was definitely on the right track.
I continued eating healthy and taking the supplement and within a month I was feeling better than I had been in years. I lost ten pounds and had a lot more energy than I’ve had in years. I went back to the doctor and had another ultrasound and the gallstones were dramatically smaller and the sludge was gone! The doctor asked me what I was doing and I told him but he didn’t seem very interested. I was surprised. Here I told him how I had specifically avoided surgery to remove an organ with absolutely NO side effects and he didn’t really seem to care. He just told me to go ahead and walked out.
All I can tell you is that if you have gallbladder pain and are considering surgery, this is the first thing you should try. It is natural and can very well save you from gallbladder surgery.
