A body detox is a way to improve your health and well-being. Detoxification is a way to get rid of bad toxins in your body. This alone will increase your energy levels by eliminating those toxins that are making you sluggish and tired. Detoxing gives you energy while also helping you lose weight.

There are two types of toxins: controllable and uncontrollable. The controllable ones come from what you ingest via food, drink, etc. You can reduce your intake of these toxins by doing a body detox. Uncontrollable ones are from things like the air you breathe and the environment you expose your body to, like bathwater.

You can find all kinds of diets and detox articles on the internet. Some claim to complete the process in 2 days, others claim to do it within 10 days. However, they are all very similar. The duration of the detox depends on the level of toxins in your body and how strict you are about the process.

The basis of detoxifying your body is a healthy lifestyle and diet, also known as cleansing and refreshment. Refresh refers to the process of restoring the electrolytes and other nutrients your body loses during the cleansing process. Healthy eating refers to eating organic, nutrient-dense, and minimally processed foods. You should eat less animal protein and eat more alkaline with fresh vegetables. Eliminate alcohol, sugar, processed foods, sodas and trans fats. All of these things bring harmful waste into your body.

Sleep is another important process for detoxification. Sleep at least 7 to 8 hours a night. Sleeping is a way to allow your body to rest and heal. It allows your body to focus more on the detoxification process.

You should drink plenty of water. This helps your kidneys flush toxins out of your body. At the same time, it keeps you hydrated and also helps suppress your appetite. Purified water is better than regular tap water.

Exercise is also another important ingredient. This helps your circulation and breathing. It will also help your skin sweat and stretch. Exercise also helps with weight loss.

A detox bath can also support the process. Add 2 cups of Epson salt and 1/2 cup of baking soda to your bath water. Some people also add their favorite essential oils.
