Easy Weight Loss Diets – Tips for Everyone

0 15

Light weight loss diets offer individuals better alternative ways to lose body mass. Excess body fat is a problem affecting one in four people in the world today. Unlike a few decades ago, the pressures of work, school, and other social events don’t allow us to sit down and prepare a healthy meal.

But with a surge in lifestyle diseases like diabetes, gout, heart disease and kidney failure, more and more people are becoming more cautious about their body mass. Thanks to Internet technology, it is now easier to access various weight loss tips than it was ten years ago. But this has also given rise to a new breed of threat, namely weight loss junk. There seems to be someone around every corner with ideas on how to get rid of the extra pounds in a short time. What most of these websites don’t tell you are the health risks involved? Therefore, the article wants to offer you another alternative i.e. simple diets to lose weight that are both healthy and safe. Also, they are not limited to any particular category of people.

First and foremost, you need to determine how many calories your body needs on any given day. This can be determined by calculating your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR). The formula is: body weight (lbs) x 15 + (average activity ie minutes per day x 3.5). If you want to lose as much weight as possible, your goal should be based on a 500 calorie basal metabolic rate. For example, if you weigh 200 pounds and work an average of 30 minutes a day, then your BMR can be calculated as: (200 x 15) + (30 x 3.5) = 3000 + 105 = 3105 calories. To get your basal metabolic rate, calculate with 3105 – 500 = 2605 calories. Therefore, you need to lose at least 2605 calories per week.

Once you have your BMR, the next step for you is to watch what you eat. There are people who really want to lose weight but are getting weighed down by what they eat. Try to avoid foods high in sugar as much as possible. The types of foods to avoid on an “easy weight loss diet” include pizza, potato chips, cookies, soda, ice cream, french fries, and donuts. Opt for fresh fruits and vegetables instead. Also, opt for low-carb foods if you must eat carbs. In general, most people eat junk food during their lunch break. To avoid such temptations, make sure you have a boxed meal with you.

One of the ways through which the majority of people increase their calorie intake is by eating a lot of food. Basically, this is usually caused by starvation. However, you can keep hunger at bay by having a healthy snack between meals. Also, spread your meals out into at least 4 or 5 meals a day instead of the traditional 2 or 3 meals.
