The Macro and Micro Worlds of Thea Alexander

0 30

Thea Alexander wrote a book titled 2150 AD, originally published in 1976. It describes a fascinating world that consists of two parts consisting of the macro world and the micro world.

In the macro world there was harmony, cooperation, and everyone respected everyone and did their best to be good and friendly to each other. In contrast, the micro world was smaller and isolated from the macro world. It has been ruled by oppression, mind control tactics, and the public’s ignorance of current events.

Nothing in our modern world bears a complete resemblance to the macro world, but it is easy to see that the Chinese Communist Party and other repressive regimes are exact reflections of the rulers of the micro world.

In China, the Chinese Communist Party censors and controls the news. To ensure that everything and everyone stays in line, there is an extensive system of “forced re-education through labor camps.” One might wonder how one is “transformed” through forced labor.

Such a sentence seems to be the culmination of contradictory prose.

Perhaps a more appropriate term would be “mind control through forced labor”. It is interesting to note that in China a person can be sent to a forced labor camp for up to three years without a court conviction or court order. Not that it matters much, the judiciary in China is dictated by the Chinese Communist Party. Justice is rare in such a system.

Similar to the micro-world in Thea Alexander’s book, you would most likely say “no” to the average Chinese if you asked them if they lived in a repressive society. Some may say this because they wholeheartedly believe the CCP’s propaganda that is being broadcast everywhere. Most would say that out of total fear. Anyone who speaks out against the Chinese Communist Party risks arrest, torture, forced labor and possibly death.

This is similar to the way the micro world leaders in Thea’s book maintained absolute control. This is how the Chinese Communist Party is doing in the real world today. There are many groups and individuals being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party. A recent web search for “persecution in China” returned 2,150,000 results.

The Clearwisdom website does a good job of documenting the Chinese Communist Party’s abuses against Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners are peaceful and non-violent. They just want to meditate and believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. Still, the irrational need to control people’s thinking within the confines of their own minds always seems to have been a priority for the Chinese Communist Party.

The macro world was a world of beauty, harmony, peace and cooperation. The microworld was a world of control and oppression with residents who either didn’t realize it, tried to forget, or dared not tell the truth for fear of their lives and worse. What kind of world would you rather live in and support?
