0 29

Have you heard about Gout diet? Can Diet Alone Cure Gout? Since the cause of gout is related to defective purine metabolism, it seems logical that reducing or eliminating purine-rich foods would eliminate gout.

One would think that the pain of gout would be enough to prompt sufferers to change their diet, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. The gout diet is not overly abstinent, you are free to indulge in a wide variety of delicious foods.

It’s not just about what you eat, but how much you eat of what you shouldn’t be eating. Meat is one of the main culprits, but if we could manage to eat a very small portion of some form of protein once a day, gout symptoms might never appear.

Gout can be triggered by a crash diet. If you are overweight, a healthy gout diet will slowly reduce your weight. A gout diet offers a simple solution to a potentially lifelong health problem. Taking medication to reduce pain and inflammation does not treat the root cause of the problem. The cause of the problem is overindulgence in purine-rich foods, which is associated with a predisposition to gout. Therefore, relieving symptoms with pain relievers and anti-inflammatory drugs will only increase your health problems since every drug you take has side effects.

The gout diet should consist of fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, organic sourdough bread, organic sugar-free cereals, ground flaxseed flour, extra virgin olive oil for your salads, and as much filtered water as you can drink.

Foods to Avoid: Fast foods, fried foods, red meat, offal, seafood, pizza, hydrogenated fats such as margarine, diet sodas or sodas of any kind, sugar substitutes, and alcohol, especially beer.

This diet is simple and can get you back to health in a very short amount of time. It is far better to make a few changes in your eating habits that will allow you to enjoy a healthy life rather than suffer from gouty arthritis. Cure your gout with a healthy gout diet.
