Healing Huntington’s Disease With Orthomolecular Medicine

0 64

Treating and curing Huntington’s disease with common amino acids is the basis of orthomolecular medicine. Large doses of naturally occurring proteins called amino acids can repair the imbalance in the brain and make it malfunction. These amino acids are affordable and used in therapeutic doses that are much larger than the amounts typically found in foods. The concept of orthomolecular medicine is based on the use of very high doses of vitamins, minerals, amino acids or botanical extracts to repair cells and increase normal brain activity.

Huntington’s disease has several symptoms that can improve with orthomolecular medicine. The problems associated with HD include mood disorders, depression, personality changes, clumsiness, dementia, involuntary muscle movements, and can be treated with large therapeutic doses of GABA, glutamate, lysine, valine, leucine, theanine, taurine, and alanine. This patient should not take arginine and should avoid foods high in arginine, including nuts and chocolate. Valine is extremely important in HD, and low levels of valine cause problems with the myelin sheath over the nerve. Valine supplements in large therapeutic doses can help with Huntington’s disease, MS, ALS, myasthenia gravis, and diabetic neuropathy. Valine deficiency can cause degenerative neurological conditions and slow nerve impulses.

Amino acid therapy can be taken orally or through IV therapy. This therapy will not cure the patient, but it can delay progression and slow neuronal death rate. This will slow down the progression of brain degradation. Treat this disease very aggressively with very large amounts of the required amino acids and use lots of supplemental plant extracts for brain symptoms.

This patient should eat a diet high in essential fatty acids such as salmon, olive oil and avocados. This person should eat cold-water fish at least three times a week. The anti aging supplements of Alpha Lipoic Acid and Organic Wheatgrass tablets or capsules are very beneficial for this person.

There is another supplement that is not an amino acid, vitamin, mineral or herb that quantum orthomolecular medicine would use to try to repair the damaged cellular RNA caused by Huntington’s disease.

DIETARY CHANGES FOR THIS DISEASE SHOULD INCLUDE RESTRICTION OF SODIUM AND INCREASE OF POTASSIUM. This patient should not be taking diuretics. Diuretics could accelerate the progression of this disease.
