Many complain about the diets and are too quick to shout “cheating” when it doesn’t help them. To tell the truth, I’ve had results with the 6 Week Body Makeover, but I haven’t lost 30 pounds in 6 weeks, and I didn’t want to either. Everyone’s weight loss goals are different and for those looking to lose a lot of weight I would recommend the Michael Thurmond Diet.
However, this diet requires a lot of discipline and if you are not ready to lose weight and stick to this eating plan, then don’t even bother. The people who complain that they haven’t lost weight on this program have cheated on their diet or didn’t follow the guidelines. This meal plan is so painfully simple, yet people still can’t follow it. The program is simply to eat more meals per day (6 small meals) according to your body type and shape your body based on your problem areas. The people who didn’t lose weight either cheated on their diet or didn’t follow the plan’s guidelines.
The diet is quite restrictive and you will eat a lot of bland vegetables, lean meats and complex carbohydrates. However, the question is “how much do you want to lose weight?” Are you willing to stop eating a bag of potato chips or a glass of ice cream to get that beautiful body you’ve always wanted? This program teaches you to eat healthily without the gimmicks, fancy shakes, or strenuous exercise routines.
For me, this meal plan guide has taught me how to plan my meals and choose healthier alternatives (compared to the foods I ate before starting the diet). Of course, I cheat at times, but I’ve been pretty consistent with my diet plans based on my body type (Body Type C) and have lost weight accordingly.
